You guys know the Zeitgeist movies, right? I'm looking for a speech topic for this class I'm taking. It's gotta be on self sustainability or clean energy & I remembered there was a part in Zeitgeist 2 where they talked about that kind of stuff so I started googling around to refresh my memory & found this Zeitgeist "mixtape" LOL.
You people have officially taken this "mixtape" thing too far. A Zeitgeist mixtape? Izuforreal? And I think its somewhat officially sanctioned too but I can't find the site where I first saw the link anymore. As for the music... It sounds just like you would expect it to. It's posthumously hosted by George Carlin & somehow they got Immortal Technique to throw in one of his old album cuts. And its not mixed. It's just one of these compilations people with the internets that fancy themselves rappers think would be a good idea to "get exposure." It does have some clever comedic moments. One dude drops in the CREAM instrumental so he can say "Cash rules everything around me, cream! It's Ameros! Dolla dolla bill yall" & another song is called C.rackers I.n A.merikka." Classic.
Anyway, this discovery marks the official rebirth of my anti "mixtape" movement. If I know you & you try to tell me about your "mixtape" you're getting dissed. Even if I don't know you you're getting dissed. Eff your compilation CDR!! Damn you Curtis for changing the meaning of the word mixtape!

Review by Peter Fawthrop from allmusic.comIt is probably inappropriate to label a singer as a cash in product. After all, a singer is an artist and not a laundry detergent commercial. The problem here is that the talented David Foster doesn't seem to know the difference and has taken the lovely Tennessean Jordan Hill as his "find." For all evident purposes, he has made her into a Mariah Carey

Tommy's eighth studio album ventures more into the adult contemporary/easy-listening territory, although songs like "Fly Away", "My Heart Keeps Calling Your Name", "Like Air" and "That's What I Think" reminds us that he's still a pop singer at heart. It's almost hard to belive that almost two years ago, I had never recognized the name Tommy Page or heard any of his music; within the past two
