Filipino in American Idol 8 - Jenisis Samoranos

There is a Filipino who made it to Hollywood during American Idol season 8 Kansas City audition. Her name is Jennifer "Jenisis" Samoranos.
So Filipinos have something to look forward to. Hope Jenisis Samoranos will make it to the top 24, then to the top 12 and be the next Ramiele Malubay.

I've been watching her YouTube videos and she seems to have a good voice. There are many times though that she sounds off key. Is it because she tries hard to sound like an R&B singer? I would suggest she sings the song with its original tunes. She has to be careful with the high notes and not fall flat.

The original "American Idol" queen makes history on this week's Billboard Hot 100, to be posted tomorrow. Kelly Clarkson's new track "My Life Would Suck Without You" is set to rocket 97-1, establishing the largest leap ever to No. 1 in the chart's 50-year history.

"My Life," the preview single from her upcoming March 17 release "All I Ever Wanted," shifts 280,000 digital downloads in its first week of availability, prompting the momentous move to the top. The song is also faring well at radio, jumping 58-38 on the Hot 100 Airplay chart and 27-18 on the Mainstream Top 40 list.

In October 5, 2002, Kelly's "A Moment Like This" also jumped 52-1 on the chart. Good job Kelly!
