| Bon Jovi To Play Another Political Fundraiser Posted: 04 Jan 2009 10:29 AM PST Before I get to the title story let me first say this and show you a few things. I don’t have a problem with Bon Jovi per se, but a recent post by Anti-music kind of caught my eye and it brought light to a crazy ordeal that I think is rather ridiculous. I know and understand that after 25 years, Bon Jovi still has a gigantic fan base and these guys don’t come cheap. They need to pay the taxes and mortgage on their 30 million dollar houses and the insurance on their Bently’s and sh*t. I still think that their tickets are grossly overpriced though. You have to pay $50 to get in the fan club and then dish out hundreds more in order to reap the benefits. Check out this Story from Antimusic about Bon Jovi’s Fan club. You know those “Free” concerts that you often see bands advertise? Sleazroxx.com also reported that these free tickets cost 1500…from a scalper anyway. It’s tough to get free tickets for any show. Now on to the story. Bon Jovi is helping Hillary Clinton bale herself out of her campaign debt by performing at a fundraiser. Bravewords.com reports that tickets will cost anywhere from $75 to a cool grand. Clinton is still in debt of over 6 million dollars. Makes my debt feel like peanuts.
