BUn B Releasing Final UGK Album This Year

Bun B will be releasing the final UGK album titled For Life this year.

The Houston bred rapper revealed to MTV Friday (January 23) that the album will be released via Jive Records on March 31st.

Pimp C, the other half of UGK, died from sleep apnea and an overdose of Promethazine/Codeine syrup in a Los Angeles hotel in 2007.

"This will be a good bookend to the legacy of myself and Pimp," Bun-B said. "And definitely take not just the group, but Pimp C, to true legend and iconic status."

Bun B revealed that the project may not feature any outside collabos and only boast 12 tracks.

The first single from the set, Da Game Been Good to Me", is currently circulating online [Listen]. A video for the track will be released soon.
