DoSomething.org and Aéropostale are teaming up to collect more than 200,000 jeans for homeless youth for their Teens for Jeans campaign.  Would you like to help out?  You can support David in his efforts to raise awareness about teen homelessness by dropping off your jeans at any Aéropostale store now through February 22, 2009. My Life Would Suck Without You - Video Posted: 02 Feb 2009 09:36 AM PST What do you think of Kelly Clarkson's video for her new single "My Life Would Suck Without You."  I like the song (I don't love it) and I think the video is pretty decent.  It's good to see her back in her element (she seems pretty comfortable in the clip).  I hope that this is the start of a major comeback for Kelly.  She's got a lot of talent and, of course, represents the start of American Idol.  Go Kelly!! Mikalah Gordon at Afro Samurai Launch Party Posted: 02 Feb 2009 08:49 AM PST Do you remember Mikalah Gordon?  She was a finalist on the fourth season of American Idol (the year that Carrie Underwood won).  Mikalah finished in 11th place. The aspiring singer was spotted at the Afro Samurai video game launch party in Hollywood, California at the Geisha House.  The game, starring the voice of Samuel L. Jackson, was released late last month. Jordin Sparks at Leather and Laces Party Posted: 02 Feb 2009 08:22 AM PST American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks, attended the 2009 Leather and Laces party on January 30th.  I think she looked fantastic! The event took place during Super Bowl weekend in Tampa, Florida and was hosted by Carmen Electra, Jenny McCarthy and Kim Kardashian.  Some proceeds went to the "Generation Rescue" charity which supports autism research and treatment advocacy.  It is spearheaded by McCarthy whose son has suffered from autism. Julien Doré Copies Britney Spears at NRJ Awards Posted: 02 Feb 2009 08:07 AM PST Julien Doré, the 2007 winner of Nouvelle Star (France's equivalent of American Idol) continues to push the envelope with every performance. At last month's NRJ Awards, Julien came out to perform his song "Les Limites" (see the original video here) and clearly mimicked Britney Spears' 2001 Video Music Awards performance of "I'm a Slave 4 U."
