Tinted Windows - A Mish Mosh Of... Posted: 18 Feb 2009 10:57 PM CST When I first saw this on Perez Hilton, I thought it was April Fools...but no. It was in Billboard too. James Iha (of the Smashing Pumpkins), Taylor Hanson (of Hanson), Adam Schelsinger (Fountains Of Wayne bassist) and Bun E. Carlos (Cheap Trick drummer) have joined forces to create Tinted Windows...a new "super-group." According to Billboard, the group has already recorded it's debut album in a New York studio co-owned by Iha and Schlessinger. The group will make it's first major live debut March 20th at Billboard's South by Southwest showcase in Austin, Texas. The album is set to be released sometime in the Spring, according to sources. Interesting...I wonder if it's safe to assume that Hanson, Fountains Of Wayne, etc. will all be putting their other group committments on hold for the time being. We shall see.
