| Kanye Preparing To Release Book Of Glow In The Dark Tour Posted: 02 Feb 2009 06:05 PM CST Kanye West Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West is reportedly preparing the book release of Kanye West: Glow in the Dark, which is set to drop next fall. The text will serve as a guide to Ye's international travels. Tentatively scheduled for an October 2009 release, it will chronicle Kanye's journeys around the world as he tours and hits up fashion parties. Photographer Nabil Elderkin also captured him shopping in Asian malls. The book will come with a USB drive of previously unreleased music and will cost $50. (New York Magazine) The book was originally scheduled to drop this month. West first met with Rizzoli Publications in May of 2008 to discuss the project, and planned for the initial release of the project in February of 2009 following the conclusion of his tour. But as the concerts were extended, so were the contents of the book. (Fashion Week Daily) Rizzoli is a renowned Italian-based company. Rizzoli New York began its publishing operation in 1974 and has since become a leader in the fields of art, architecture, interior design, photography, haute couture, and gastronomy. (Rizzoli USA) Ye's Glow in the Dark Tour kicked-off last spring running through the summer. The tour will be co-headlined by Rihanna, Lupe Fiasco, and N.E.R.D., and will continue on for two months making a stop at the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City. |
