This week we bring you a new instalment in our series of Australian label specials - a look at Sydney label Couchblip - www.couchblip.com. Started in 2001, mainly as a vehicle to showcase the work of a group of friends with serious IDM proclivities, the label soon expanded to not only release, but also import and distribute like-minded soundmakers to Australian audiences. We talk with label founder Luke Killen/Disjunction Reunion about the label's history and inspirations as we explore Couchblip sounds, including the latest release, the Limpet EP (#11 - out late 2008 on limited vinyl).
