| Chris Brown and Rihanna No-Show at MTV’s Kids Choice Awards Posted: 29 Mar 2009 11:41 PM PDT Chris Brown and Rihanna were scheduled to perform on the Kids Choice Awards Saturday, March 28 but failed to show up. Chris Brown was nominated for favourite male singer and favourite song with "Kiss Kiss." Rihanna had Favourite song with "Don't Stop the Music" up for grabs.
Personally I think this whole 'we were surprise that they didn't show up' is full of BS. I believe that Chris Brown and Rihanna were asked not to perform to help salvage the image of the awards show. Having those two there after a horrific display of what not to do, would have sent the wrong message to teens all over the world. They needed to sit this one out to make Kids Choice look good.
