| Allison Iraheta in Spanish Talent Contest - Video Posted: 06 Mar 2009 12:46 PM PST An American Idol fan and Idol Stalker reader was kind enough to send along a video of Allison Iraheta competing in a Spanish talent contest when she was much younger (I've heard people say that she was 14 at the time). She sang "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and, given her age and experience, she sounded pretty great. She kinda overdoes that actual performance by hopping around on the stage but these things improve with time. Happy Friday, Allison fans!  According to the "Five Fun Facts" section on People.com, singer/songwriter (my secret crush), John Mayer, revealed that his first celebrity crush was American Idol judge, Paula Abdul, and that he still thinks she's pretty fabulous. He said (back in 2006): "You could play ‘Straight Up’ for me and I would probably have a Pavlovian response to it. I see her on American Idol today and I think she’s smoking." That is pretty flattering if you ask me! Maybe, if he breaks up with Jennifer Aniston, he could hook up with Paula and they could have a Demi Moore/Ashton Kutcher thing going on. Whaddya think?
