| David Cook and David Archuleta Together Again in the Philippines Posted: 24 Mar 2009 11:06 PM PDT Two YouTube videos have surfaced, one of American Idol season 7 winner David Cook and the other of his runner-up David Archuleta, and they have great news! Fans in Manila, Philippines will have double the David during the May 16, 2009 show at the Mall of Asia Open Ground. That's fantastic. The videos are really short but worth seeing if only to brighten your day a little bit. | Randy, Simon & Ryan Predict American Idol Winner - Video Posted: 24 Mar 2009 03:29 PM PDT Judges Randy Jackson, Simon Cowell and host, Ryan Seacrest, were on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night and Jay asked them to make a prediction about who was going to win this season. I know they are asked this question all the time but I think it is interesting that Jay is having them privately write down their prediction so that he can keep it a secret until the finale. I wonder if not being put on the spot and being able to think through their answer will make a difference. | Alexis Grace Talks About Life After American Idol on Fox 5 - Video Posted: 24 Mar 2009 03:16 PM PDT Eliminated American Idol contestant, Alexis Grace, was on Fox 5 this morning where she talked about what she immediately plans to do (see her daughter!), the parting words of judge, Simon Cowell, and reviewed some of her performance (the poor girl was wincing). The host also asked about her image and whether she was going to keep the pink streaks in her hair. She actually said that, when she goes home, she is going to change her hairstyle. That's interesting because I loved her during the audition rounds but then felt like she was a different person once the Top 12 was revealed. I have seen comments here on Idol Stalker and elsewhere where people have said that they didn't like her as much during the live performances and some of that was attributed to this new image. I didn't like it, I missed the softer, sweeter Alexis so I wonder if she feels the same way. Tags: alexis grace, alexis grace interview |
| Simon Cowell Says Bobby Brown is the Rudest Celebrity Posted: 24 Mar 2009 09:29 AM PDT Simon Cowell revealed on Britain's "Absolute Radio" that Bobby Brown, Whitney Houston's ex, is one of the rudest celebrities. He explains, "It’s a great game, I always do this. Whenever we go out, I always say to people, whoever it is - drivers, stewardesses - I always ask, ‘Who is the rudest person you’ve ever met?’ We play it every time we go out to dinner and we’ve got a current top 10 and we always update every week. Bobby Brown has literally been number one for six years." He was asked who the biggest Hollywood jerk he ever met was and he replies, "It was a female singer who was absolutely horrific. I met her in Los Angeles and she has a reputation for being a very nice person and I was on one of these talk shows and I met in her in the green room but she was the rudest person I’ve ever met in my life. | Jennifer Hudson’s Sister Moves Forward After Family Tragedy Posted: 24 Mar 2009 09:09 AM PDT After the devastating deaths of her mother, brother and son Jennifer Hudson's sister, Julia says she's ready to move forward and not let the Julia was walking the runway in Chicago for a fashion show for full figured women when she spoke about the topic. She sent a message to William Balfour, the suspected murderer of her three deceased family members. She says, "You did this to basically kill me. In so many words, to take my life, but it was not. And my mother and my brother and my son, they wouldn't have wanted that." "If I was to not be able to function, if I was to not be able to get up, that would mean William and the devil won. They took enough from me. They won't take nothing else from me. So I have to go on." Good for her! It's so sad what happened. I can't even begin to imagine what kind of strength it must take for her every day to face life after losing them so unexpectedly.
