| David Cook Cancels Next Two Shows Posted: 30 Mar 2009 12:11 AM PDT David Cook announced, during his performance at William and Mary concert on March 28, 2009, that he would have to put the next couple shows on hold for a few days. He explained that in all of the time he's been performing, from age 15 until now, he's only canceled one show and added: "I wouldn't do this if I didn't have to." On his website, the announcement was elaborated stating that the shows at Colby Sawyer College (New London, NH) and So. Connecticut University (New Haven, CT) would be canceled to "allow David time to deal with personal family matters." Watch David make the announcement to the crowd right before singing hit hit single "Light On." I sincerely hope that this has nothing to do with David's brother, Adam, who has advanced brain cancer. If that is the case, however, I hope and pray that things will turn out alright. My thoughts are with the Cook family. Tags: david cook cancel concert, david cook concert, tour dates |
| Clay Aiken Attends 2009 GLAAD Awards Posted: 29 Mar 2009 11:57 PM PDT American Idol season two runner-up, Clay Aiken, attending the GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) Awards for the first of, what I'm sure will be, many times. He looked really dapper at the event wearing a pink shirt and suit (in the picture below with Tyra Banks, who was presented with the "Excellence in Media" award).

| American Idol Wins 2009 Kids Choice Award! Posted: 29 Mar 2009 01:36 PM PDT At last night's Kid's Choice Awards, American Idol took home the prize for "Favorite Reality Show." On hand to accept the award was judge, Paula Abdul, and season 7 runner-up, David Archuleta.
 The award was presented by WWE star John Cena, iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove and actor, Chris Rock. Paula and David were cute together but I think it was a bit of an odd pairing. |
