Guns N’ Roses To Co-Headline With Van Halen?

VAN HALEN EAO 2

I haven’t wanted to talk about this because it’s just been pure speculations and rumors, but there has been a lot of words flying around about Guns N’ Roses doing full blown stadium tour. What’s the big deal about that? Well, everyone is wondering how the hell Axl plans on filling those seats. They don’t believe that Guns N Roses has the pull they once did, even with the release of Chinese Democracy. You really do have to wonder if it’s possible for them to fill stadium seats and sell tickets. While there is no doubt that they will sell a  significant amount of tickets, it’s just hard to think of them filling stadiums by themselves with a support act.

So, if this rumor has any truth to it, this is a genius plan and will surely put asses in every seat of every stadium they plan on hitting with this supposed tour. Van Halen and Guns N Roses Co-Headline together. Van Halen is already going to fill the seats, so if I was Eddie Van Halen or their management, I would tell Guns N’ Roses (Axl) that they can go on before Van Halen. Alternating nights I would not do if I were Eddie and the crew. Van Halen has been around a lot longer than G N’ R and has been just as big, if not bigger throughout their career. With a 15 year hiatus, Axl should tuck his ego away and just go on before Van Halen, because Van Halen is going to truly sell the tickets and Guns N’ Roses is only going to help out a little. It’s just kind of another incentive to go. I honestly think this is a great Idea for Axl.

Nickelback Announce New Summer Tour Dates

Posted: 06 Mar 2009 05:51 AM PST

Nickelback Darkhorse Nickelback has announced tour dates for an upcoming tour in support of their latest release, Dark Horse. Darks Horse has sold over 1.5 millions copies in the United States since it’s November 18th release, even though it got a lot of negative reviews and some have called it the worse album of 2008. Honestly, I haven’t heard it yet and I probably won’t bother for the simple fact that I’m tired of Nickelback and the whole craze around them.
