Skynyrd and Kid Rock Team Up For U.S. Tour Posted: 17 Mar 2009 07:20 AM PDT Lynyrd Skynyrd and Kid Rock had quite a successful run last year and Kid Rock’s Rock And Roll Jesus continues to sell like crazy. 74 weeks on the Billboard 200 and still holding strong in the top 50 at #33. What the hell does Kid Rock do that prevents people from downloading his music for free? Probably nothing. Imagine what the sales of this album would be if there wasn’t such a thing P2P file sharing and torrents. Living in the south I see a lot of rednecks that think they are rappers, but somehow Kid Rock get’s away with it and actually does it well. Whether you like his music or no, Kid Rock is a great musician and I hear he puts on a great show. Tickets for this even will go on sale on March 20th through Livenation (The Devil). Dates after the fold.
