| Posted: 19 Apr 2009 09:44 AM PDT The original Girls Rock Radio Forum is back! If you had an account before, you still do. It does look different, though. I’ve given it a new “skin” which is quite a bit darker than before, but pretty cool. You can use the color bar at the top right to chage the color if you want, and there are a number of other themes you can choose through your user account settings, if you wish. The forum is for longer term discussions and is a better place for things like requesting an artist I don’t already have on the playlist. You could use the chat for that, but I might not be around and end up missing your request. Several categories of discussion already exist, but feel free to suggest others if you see a need. |
| Posted: 19 Apr 2009 09:42 AM PDT No doubt you’ve noticed the Girls Rock Radio Chat over there on the right side of the page. It’s brought to us by our friends over at Chatango.com where you can register to get your own screenname. It’s free, and you can add your own personal avatar, or picture of yourself, your car/cat/dog/snake, or well you know, whatever best represents you. The register link is down there at the bottom of the chat. You can still chat without registering, but you’ll show up as something like “Anon1234″ on the “here now” list. You can say hello, make a new friend, or even request a song, so it’s all good. If I’m in the studio and at the computer, “GirlsRockRadio” will be on the “here now” list, but sometimes I walk away and forget to close the page, so PLEASE don’t be offended if I seem to be ignoring you. I wouldn’t dare be so rude to my guests - only to my computer. |
