This is just a heads-up guys. I will be doing a live blogging later for the American Idol Top 8 elimination results. The show starts at 8 PM central time.

Group song -- "Can't get you out of my head". The group song was a total mess. They sounded off tune most of the time.

Commercial break.

Idol is back.

Adam Lambert, Kris Allen, and Anoop Desai were first to be called.

Adam is safe. Kris Allen is safe. Anoop Desai is in the bottom three.

Commercial break.

Guest group, Flo Rida, performs.

Commercial break.

Danny Gokey is called. Danny is safe.

Matt Giraud is called. Matt is safe.

Scott MacIntyre is called. Scott is in the bottom three. oh,oh!

Allison Iraheta and Lil Rounds are called. Allison Iraheta is safe. Lil Rounds is in the bottom 3.

Anoop Desai, Scott MacIntyre, and Lil Rounds are in the bottom 3.

Commercial break. Kelly Pickler performs next.

Kelly Pickler performs and promotes an album. She falls flat all the time. LOL. Her low notes aren't great!

Lil Rounds is safe.

Lights dimmed.

Anoop Desai is safe. Scott MacIntyre sings for the judges' veto.

Scott MacIntyre is eliminated tonight on American Idol Top 8.
