David Hernandez and Adam Lambert are friends

Former Idol contestant David Hernandez and the current American Idol 8 favorite Adam Lambert are friends!

In a recent interview, David Hernandez said that he was voted off Idol last season because of the "gay" issue. He said "It wasn't the stripper thing. It was the gay thing [these photos]. That's Middle America for you."

Is David Hernandez a friend of Adam Lambert? Hernandez said that Adam is a friend "from the scene". I don't know what that means, but it seems they know each other or they've met somewhere. Are they boyfriends? Just asking...

When asked why Adam Lambert hasn't been voted off the show when in fact he's gay, David Hernandez knowingly replied, "Not yet."

David Archuleta performed on American Idol results night (April 22, 2009). David sang his new hit single "Touch My Hand." He seemed to be having a hoarse voice that night. But David sounded good still.
