As usual, I will be doing a live blogging of the American Idol Season 8 - Top 5 elimination night. So watch out for the American Idol Season 8 - Top 5 results (April 29) later. The show will start at 8c.

Who will go home tonight on Idol? My prediction is Matt Giraud. Alisson Iraheta could be in the bottom 2.

American Idol Top 5 group performance.

Commercial break.

It was Danny Gokey's birthday last Friday, and Allison's last Monday. Video is shown with the group having fun throwing cakes at each other.

Results time.

Matt Giraud is called first. He is asked to stand in one corner of the stage.

Danny Gokey is next. He goes to the other side of the stage.

Allison Iraheta is next. She joins Danny Gokey.

Kris Allen is next. He joins Matt Giraud. OMG!

Adam Lambert is last. He chose to join Allison Iraheta and Danny Gokey!

OMG! This is shocking! Ryan transferred Adam to where Matt and Kris are. The bottom three this week is Matt Giraud, Kris Allen and Adam Lambert!
