Jamey Johnson Singing Honkytonk Badonkadonk Live Back In 2007

Posted: 06 Apr 2009 08:25 PM PDT

For a lot of country fans, In Color was the first time they were introduced to Jamey Johnson. Jamey's actually been around for a while now. In addition to being a fantastic singer, he's also known as a great songwriter. Jamey actually wrote Trace Adkins' hit single Honkytonk Badonkadonk. This video is from a live show Jamey did back in 2007 at The Grove in Los Angeles, CA. The video is a little jumpy, but the audio is great. Enjoy!

You Know You're A Country Star When...

Posted: 06 Apr 2009 12:58 PM PDT

People Magazine caught up with some of our favorite country stars on the red carpet at the 2009 ACM's, and asked them, "When do you know you're a country star?"

My favorite answer of them all comes from Trace Adkins when he said, "When people start selling your used cigarette butts on eBay." Only Trace would give an answer like that.

Go here to watch the entire video.

Where's Big Kenny? He's Off Saving The World, Of Course!

Posted: 06 Apr 2009 09:52 AM PDT

Some of you have asked me what Big Kenny's been up to lately while John is supporting his solo career. Well, in true Big Kenny style, Kenny's been off on a big adventure. Kenny's the Chief Imagination Officer for Love Everybody, and he's been over in Sudan trying to help spread some love. I applaud him for his efforts.

I've been following his career for a long time, and he's always been one to look out for the little man, and Sudan is certainly the "little man" of the world. Check out some of his videos below, and if you'd like to help him spread some love, you can donate to his cause here.

Thanks Big Kenny! You're a good man.

P.S. If you truly want to help support Big Kenny, plan to attend Nashville 4 Africa on April 22, 2009 featuring Big Kenny, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Dierks Bentley, the African Children's Choir and many more artists. It's sure to be a fantastic event!

They Said What? Some Great Quotes From the 2009 ACM Awards

Posted: 06 Apr 2009 06:54 AM PDT

Reba McEntire referring to Phelps and Nelson's marijuana troubles: "Michael Phelps and Willie Nelson are teaming up to do an album. ... They're covering The Doobie Brothers."

Blake Shelton on how he handles his nerves on the red carpet: "I'm just drunk right now."

Trace Adkins after admitting that he never thought You're Gonna Miss This would be single, much less a #1 hit: "Glad I'm an idiot."

Taylor Swift in her acceptance speech for Album of the Year for Fearless: "If I talk to you for more than five minutes, I'm probably going to write a song about you."

Brad Paisley glancing over at Little Jimmie Dickens during his acceptance speech for Top Male Vocalist: "You could see we had the baby."

And lastly, the quote by Carrie Underwood after winning Entertainer of the Year that probably made Faith Hill turn beat red, "I feel like I just won American Idol all over again."
