The Woodlands - Finally !

And here we are once again : After a couple of days of deep blue sky and some warmer temperature, snow falls have covered my mountainlands. And it will be a perfect cocooning days to loop the first self-titled and awaited collection from The Woodlands.
And I wish I could lay back and relax nearby the source of a small torrent, fingers in the grass up there in my same mountains on the same prairies enjoying the sound of the Woodlands.
And I wish I could witness the first bud of the rhododendron or feel the fresh autumn breeze rocking smoothly by those delicate tunes from this Oregon duo (wife & husband) ; a joyful invitation to a continuous time span through seasons and life snapshots.

“Until the Day Dims”, their self-titled intro song is a perfect “Chris-Garneau-master-piece” wearing a heavy dose of lightness. And God, how good is it ! Then ‘Can we stay’ first notes reminded me of a baroque Michael Nyman composition picking the beauty of the orchestral view on a delicate acoustic point… And I will stop there evoking those Woodlands delicious harmony claiming my own ‘Can I stay’  !
