Idol Stalker - Watching American Idol

Idol Stalker - Watching American Idol

Kris Allen, Adam Lambert & Paula Abdul on Larry King Live - Videos

Posted: 22 May 2009 11:51 PM PDT

American Idol season 8 winner, Kris Allen and runner-up, Adam Lambert were being interviewed on Larry King Live tonight. Filling in for Larry was Idol's host, Ryan Seacrest, who also interviewed this season's top 10 contestants.

Kris Allen admitted that being crowned the newest idol has not fully sunk in yet for him, and of course he was as humble as ever. Ryan asked him if he thought that the Christian vote played a big part in him winning, and he says that he really hoped it didn't. He says that religion shouldn't have anything to do with American Idol, and I've got to agree with him.

Adam's attitude was great! He showed absolutely not bitterness or anything, which was great to see. He said that all he wanted to do was just do his best. Paula Abdul also joined the two after a while and said that the judges were happy no matter who ended up winning. Enjoy the videos!

Top 10 of American Idol 8 on Larry King Live - Videos

Posted: 22 May 2009 11:22 PM PDT

Did you guys catch American Idol season 8's top 10 contestants on Larry King Live tonight? If not, I've got some videos here for you! Larry wasn't the one interviewing them, though. Who better to do the job than Idol's own Ryan Seacrest?

Danny Gokey spoke a bit about what he thought might have been the reason why Adam Lambert did not come out as the winner for this latest season of the show. He had some reasonable explanations! Alison Iraheta admitted that Idol has helped her come out of her shell a bit. Scott MacIntyre also joked about needing a recommendation for Dancing with the Stars after all the dancing that he did on the show.

Bikini Girl Reacts to Being Upstaged By Kara

Posted: 22 May 2009 12:18 PM PDT

When American Idol judge, Kara DioGuardi, stepped out on the stage and took over as former contestants, Katrina "Bikini Girl" Darrell tried to warble her way through "Vision of Love," the audience went nuts and I could not stop laughing.  I'm guessing Bikini Girl didn't think it was as funny.

When I first heard that Bikini Girl had a response to it, my first reaction was "why does anyone even ask Bikini Girl what she thinks?"  When I heard what she had to say, I wondered if the girl was actually delusional.  Has she heard herself sing?

In this interview with Fox, Bikini girl admitted that she was upset and said that Kara just wanted "her 15 seconds" (um, Kara doesn't need any more exposure) and "really made herself look stupid."  No, sweetie, there was someone on the stage who looked stupid but it wasn't Kara.

It seems that the wannabe singer is saying the same thing to as many people she can.  I read the following quotes on USmagazine.com:  "I don’t think she got the reaction she was hoping for. I think she probably thought I would cry or get mad, and I didn’t — I played it off.  Looking back at the tape, she just made herself look stupid. She didn’t make me look stupid.   I knew there were 100 million viewers, so I couldn’t cry.  I couldn’t get mad. I just had to smile and deal with it.  I think they [show producers] tested me. I think I did really well considering all that I went through."

Um, what exactly did she go through?  She's lucky anyone knows who she is and she can thank the producers for that.  Did she really think she was going to get a whole song to herself?  Apparently, she's got a sister who is even sweeter according to this quote from Bikini Girl: "We were walking and [Kara] said, ‘Oh sweetie, I hope you didn’t take anything personally.’ I rolled my eyes, and my sister said, ‘Hey, next time you try to upstage my sister, get a spray tan! How old are you? 45 or 50?’ I looked back and shrugged. She kind of said what I was thinking!"  Keep it classy, Bikini Girl!
