Susan Boyle is missing. No, she is just hiding from the press. After her meltdown, Susan Boyle just needs more time for herself and be away from people banging on her hotel door.

And NO, Susan Boyle isn't quitting Britain's Got Talent show.

People reports: British singing sensation Susan Boyle is tasting the dark side of fame. Hounded by the press and allegedly caught dropping the F-bomb in public – Britain's best-selling newspaper The Sun has dubbed her Ramboyle – the demure spinster from Scotland has ducked out of view. But, after one of the show's judges, Piers Morgan, suggested she was considering dropping out of the competition, Boyle insists the show will go on. "I've spent weeks rehearsing – it's all I've been thinking about. I'm not going to throw away my big chance now," Boyle, 48, who has moved to a secret location, said in a statement posted on the Britain's Got Talent Web site. She wants "nothing more than to stay and sing," she says.

The largest ukulele ensemble world record is to be attempted at Beatles fest.

[via] The Sitar Emporium at the Wonderwall Music Shoppe & Emporium and The Fest For Beatles Fans are partnering together in gathering a thousand ukulele and Beatles enthusiasts in a attempt to set a new Guinness World Records(tm) world record for the Largest Ukulele Ensemble this summer during the annual Beatles convention, The Fest For Beatles Fans, August 14-16, Hyatt Regency O'hare Hotel.

This attempt will take place on the last day of the Fest, Sunday, August 16. Time to be announced. Check Fest website for admission charge and other info.

The official Guinness World Records(tm) count is 401 ukulele players set in Stockholm, 2007.
