Fat Mattress - Fat Mattress II 1970

"Noel Redding" formed "Fat Mattress" just prior to leaving "The Experience" and they released two albums before he went on to join "Road". Their sound isn't dissimilar to "The Experience", containing lots of psych rock influences. "Fat Mattress II" is obviously their second album and I feel isn't as good as their debut self-titled one up next. But still worth a shot. Enjoy folks.01. The Storm (4:

The next couple of posts will include bands that the great bassist of the "Jimi Hendrix Experience" was in - no other than "Noel Redding" folks. He joined hard rock band "Road" after leaving "Fat Mattress" and released this self-titled album in 1972, which includes heavy fuzz guitar and cool wah wah stuff. Lap it up rockers.01.
