“I’m A Celebrity” Starring Sanjaya Premieres Today

If you love Sanjaya Malakar (or just enjoy watching "celebrities" get mildly tortured), you might want to tune in to the two-hour premiere of I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here tonight. The show (which takes place in Costa Rica) will run from Monday through Thursday until the week of the finale (Wednesday, June 24).

If you don't have the time to watch the shows and also don't have a DVR, don't worry! MTV will be airing a marathon of the week's episodes each Sunday, starting June 7, 2009.

Along with Sanjaya the following celebs have signed on: Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt (MTV's “The Hills”), NBA star and TV personality John Salley (”Best Damned Sports Show Period”), supermodel and TV star Janice Dickinson (”The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency”), actor Stephen Baldwin (”The Mole," "Celebrity Apprentice"), professional wrestler and beauty queen Torrie Wilson and the wife of disgraced former Illinois Governor, Rob Blagojevich.

Will you be tuning in tonight? Have you seen any of the other seasons? I liked the one with Melissa Rivers and Stuttering John.

Jennifer Hudson Has Baby Shower!

Rumors that American Idol alum, Jennifer Hudson, is pregnant and, while it is true that she hasn't personally confirmed the news herself yet, the reports are getting a lot more convincing.

First, the Chicago Sun-Times reported that Dreamgirls actress celebrated with a baby shower in downtown Chicago. The newspaper quotes a "source" as saying that Jennifer is about seven months along. Wow! Of course, the rumors have been compounded by the fact that she has postponed dates on her concert tour with Robin Thicke, claiming vocal cord strain. She has also worn a lot of loose tops and weird clothes at her recent public appearances (that outfit on the Today show even caused me to raise my eyebrows).

People.com quotes Jennifer's longtime friend, Felicia Fields, as saying the following: “It was a baby shower, a quiet gathering of friends and mostly family. They’re really trying to keep it kind of quiet. It was a nice time that we had. They don’t know [the gender].”

Honestly, if you knew that your friend was "trying to keep it kind of quiet," would you confirm rumors to the media? I know that I would not. I wouldn't want to steal someone else's thunder.

If she is pregnant, I wish her all the best. She seems like an incredibly strong person and motherhood can be so amazing. Besides, she probably sings the best lullabies in the world!

Chikezie Performs at 2009 “Spring Bling”

American Idol season 7 alum, Chikezie Eze, was invited to perform at the 2009 Simon G. Jewelry ‘Spring Bling‘ event benefiting the Lili Claire Foundation at The Palazzo Resort-Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas over the weekend. The foundation, which has been in operation for the past four years, created Nevada's first multi-team approach for autism and also provides clinics and social services for fetal alcohol syndrome.

Fashion designer David Alexander styled the event which included a nice preview of his summer collection and then the guests were treated to performances by Chikezie and Grammy-nominated artists, Sara Bareilles and Colby O'Donis. Other special guests included hosts Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian, Shari Belefonte, Vanessa Minnillo and DJ Chuck.

Ryan Seacrest Takes Date to Madeo For Dinner

A lot of celebrities seem to like Madeo in Los Angeles but I'm not sure if it's because of the food, drinks or atmosphere. Have any of you ever been there?

American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest, was spotted at the hotspot with his Megan Fox-lookalike date. I find this an odd pairing (at least in these photos) especially because their outfits don't seem to match (he looks so casual). However, if his pants are any indication, he finds his new girlfriend attractive enough…

Jordin Sparks and Brother Travel Together

If you're a fan of American Idol season 6 winner, Jordin Sparks, then you probably know that she is especially close to her brother, PJ. They have met with some speculations and rumors recently since they both have a tattoo of each other's names and some have found that strange (what do you think? Is it weird to have your sibling's name inked on some part of your body?).

Anyway, they were spotted together as they got off of an international flight and landed in Washington, DC. They seem to travel well, at least. Neither of them looks worse for wear after being in a plane for multiple hours.

Adam Lambert Enjoys a Mani-Pedi in LA

American Idol season 8 runner-up, Adam Lambert, was spotting enjoying a mani-pedi (manicure and pedicure) at the Instyle Nails salon in West Hollywood. From what I've read on the internet, he chose black polish for his toes, of course. I guess he's earning his "Glambert" nickname!

I have to say, though, that it's really nice to see that his personality is all that it seemed to be while he was on the show. Every post-Idol interview and all of his candids show a fun-loving, happy and adorable personality. He's probably the best "loser" this show has ever had (but can you really use the word "loser" when you're talking about Adam? I think not).

Kara DioGuardi Outs Lambert on The View

I know this was last week (I'm still catching up from the site renovations) but American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi was on The View and she looked tanned and beautiful. I don't know if I've ever noticed how flawless her skin is but I digress…

Host, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, wasted no time and got right to the point. She wanted to know if Kara was as shocked as America (at large) was when Kris Allen was named the winner of this year's competition since Adam Lambert had been considered the frontrunner for so long. It was a bit awkward when Kara clearly wanted to be diplomatic (since she is working with both Kris and Adam Lambert on new music) but the ladies wanted to get a firm answer out of her.

Barbara Walters then asked about the fact that Ryan Seacrest announced that Adam would be addressing the rumors surrounding his sexuality very soon (it was kind of hilarious because the audience thought Barbara was saying that Ryan was going to come out as gay – too funny!). Kara said that she always thought that Adam was "openly out."
