Don't get me wrong, I love today's hot country stars like all the ones who partied last night at the CMT Music Awards, but there's something to be said about a country artist like Ashton Shepherd. She's authentic and real. She reminds me a lot of Gretchen Wilson. Ashton's a true country girl who just loves to play the guitar and sing. Shannon Brown's Music Video For Corn Fed

Shannon Brown has been around for a while now, but has never broken through to the next level professionally. She has had some success on the Billboard Country charts, but has only had one top forty hit. Back in 2001, she released a version of Deborah Allen's Baby I Lied, which peaked at #40 on the country charts. Her latest album was released in 2006. The title of the album and first single was Corn Fed. It peaked at #47 on the country charts.

While Shannon is still trying to find her place in country music, her husband, Shaun Silva is one of the most well-known and respected country music video directors in the business. He's directed videos for Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts and Sugarland to name a few. The last video he directed for Kenny was Out Last Night. Enjoy his wife Shannon's video for Corn Fed, which was directed by Shaun of course.
