Constantine Maroulis Attends Broadway Barks!

Posted: 13 Jul 2009 12:56 AM PDT

Last week, Mary Tyler Moore and Bernadette Peters hosted the eleventh annual Broadway Barks! event which features an amazing dog and cat adopt-a-thon which benefits New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies.

I think that's great because I can only imagine how many animals are abandoned and left on the streets in NYC so I'm glad someone is doing something about it.  It's produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and sponsored by the ASPCA and Pedigree.

I can't even list all of the celebrities that attended the event but I can tell you that Rock of Ages star, Constantine Maroulis, was there!  Here's a picture!

Adam Lambert and Kris Allen Take Over “Top 40”

Posted: 13 Jul 2009 12:46 AM PDT

With American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest, on vacation, this year's winner, Kris Allen, and the runner-up, Adam Lambert, filled in for him.  I don't know about you but I think I like them more than I like Ryan!  They had amazing chemistry and I thought they were hilarious.  One of the funniest parts was when a woman left Adam a message about how much she liked him and invited him to MySpace her.  He laughed that she might not be "his type" since he has admitted that he’s gay.  Wow.

Anyway, the whole thing is pretty great (make sure you watch the videos after the jump!). I did feel a little sorry for Kris since Adam got so much attention:

Diana DeGarmo and Anthony Federov in “Dreamcoat”

Posted: 13 Jul 2009 12:37 AM PDT

Two of my favorite former American Idol finalists have been tapped to perform in the Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma's upcoming production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoatjoseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoatDiana DeGarmo will be the narrator while Anthony Federov has been given the lead role of Joseph!

I know that they are going to be great in this show and I really wish I could see it but Oklahoma is just too far away.  Are any of you going?  I'd love to hear about it!

The show will run from July 21-25, 2009.  I can tell you that tickets start at only $28 but you can find more information on the Lyric Theater website.
