David Cook Performs at “Home Run Derby” - Video Posted: 17 Jul 2009 01:26 AM PDT Last year's American Idol winner, David Cook, performed "Heroes" at the Home Run Derby (an event played prior to the MLB All-Star Game) earlier this week. I was able to track down this video of him performing "Heroes" (sorry for the quality).
Here's the audio of an interview David gave before the performance. He explained that he really loves baseball so he's like a "kid in a candy store" with excitement over being able to be at the event. He's always so charming! Check it out: Post from: Idol Stalker |
Daughtry on Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien Posted: 17 Jul 2009 01:18 AM PDT Daughtry was on The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien last night where they performed "No Surprise" and I have to say that I really liked it (although the backup vocals were a little shady…). I wasn't completely sold on this song when I first heard it but it has really grown on me. I know that everyone has said this about a million times (myself included), but I'm so happy for Chris Daughtry for taking his exposure on American Idol and using it to his advantage. He's so talented and he really is an example of someone who had everything it took to be successful but just needed a "big break." Check it out and enjoy your Friday!
