Taylor Swift at The V Festival

Taylor Swift looked gorgeous during her performance at V Fest this past weekend.  She was featured on the V Stage in Hylands Park on Saturday and then Weston Park on Sunday (in England).

Of course, I had to go looking for a video from the event and I found this pretty stellar performance of "Love Story."  I have been underwhelmed by her live performances in the past and I think this is the best she's ever sounded so I'm hoping she's starting to improve.  Either way, she looked good and sounded great.  What more can you ask for?

Heidi Montag’s Miss Universe Performance

Heidi Montag had been on what felt like a million talk shows and media outlets promoting her performance at the Miss Universe pageant.  She hit the stage for the first time last night and, well, I was underwhelmed.  First of all, she said that she was going to do her best to avoid lip synching and I'm guessing that didn't work out but that wasn't her only problem.  The outfit was horrendous (but did it remind anyone of an outfit worn by Britney Spears at an awards show some years ago?) and it only made the bad dancing look worse (to me). 

Still, I was glad that she picked "Body Language" since I think that song is probably the best she's ever made (not that she's got an extensive repertoire) so at least that's a plus, right?
