Swedesplease

Down nostalgia road with Nils Folke Valdemar (aka Let’s Be Honeys)

Once upon a time there was a site called Swedesplease. It fell in love with the simple music of Nils Folke Valdemar (or then known as Let’s Be Honeys). The songs were mostly indie pop love songs with the hurt and painful feelings worn very much on the sleeve. Think of a combination of Jonathan Richman and Jens Lekman. Back then I wrote about these songs at every chance I got.

Nils is working on writing and performing new songs but for now let’s revisit those golden years (2005-2007).
