Top Artists Recruited For VH1 Honors Posted: 03 Sep 2009 12:03 AM PDT There have been a slew of artists recruited to perform in a celebration of Def Jam at the 2009 VH1 Hip Hop Honors. The show is scheduled for October 13th and a portion of the show will be dedicated towards honoring Def Jam Record who are celebrating their 25th year in business. Eminem 'Relapse' Release Party - May 19th, 2009 Tracy Morgan will be the host of this year’s VH1 Awards and will be aided by other funny men like Chris Rock and Jimmy Fallon. Musical performers for the night will include songs by Eminem, The Roots, Method Man, Mary J. Blige, Kid Rock, Young Jeezy and Public Enemy.
