| Jennifer Hudson at Season-Opening Party For Oprah Posted: 07 Sep 2009 11:23 PM PDT Oprah Winfrey is getting ready to launch the 24th season of her daytime talk show and she's asked fellow Chicago native, Jennifer Hudson, to help celebrate. I'm not completely sure (please correct me if I'm wrong) but I think this is Jennifer's first performance since the birth of her son, David, almost a month ago. The party is taking place on the Magnificent Mile (are you surprised? This is Oprah!) with Jennifer slated to appear alongside illusionist Criss Angel (I really dislike him – anyone else feel the same way?) and the Black Eyed Peas. *Note* If you're in the Chicago area, you might want to avoid North Michigan Avenue since some of it is being shut down and I'm sure the traffic around it will be brutal! image © 2009 FOX BROADCASTING CR: Ray Mickshaw / FOX Post from: Idol Stalker |
| Ace Young and Bo Bice on Jerry Lewis Telethon Posted: 07 Sep 2009 10:55 PM PDT I always associate the Jerry Lewis Telethon with the Labor Day weekend so I was happy to see a couple familiar faces on the program encouraging viewers to give money to cure Muscular Dystrophy. Ace Young (Season 5) co-hosted the event and then graced the stage with performances of "It Had To Be You" (one of my favorites since I used it for my first dance at my wedding!) and "Come Together." It was a sweet and classy set and, of course, Ace looked as cute as ever! Check out the video. Bo Bice (runner-up, Season 4) also took to the stage to support the cause and performed "The Long Road Back." Ace introduced Bo and said that he wouldn't have tried out for American Idol if Bo hadn't – what a nice thing to say (do you think that's true, though?). Post from: Idol Stalker |
