| Constantine Maroulis “God Bless America” at 2009 U.S. Open Posted: 16 Sep 2009 08:53 PM PDT Former American Idol contestant, Constantine Maroulis, performed at the 2009 U.S. Open over the weekend. He sang "God Bless America" and, like David Archuleta's performance of "America the Beautiful," I thought it was a solid and reverent delivery of this incredibly patriotic song.
