America's Got Talent Finalists 2009

There were 5 acts that went through the finale of America's Got Talent 2009.

The first set of America's Got Talent Finalists 2009 are The Texas Tenors, Kevin Skinner, comedian Grandma Lee, Voices of Glory and The Fab Five.

The Texas Tenors, comedian Grandma Lee and singer Kevin Skinner were selected by the viewers via phone, e-mail and text message votes. The judges choose singing siblings The Voices of Glory and dancing sisters The Fab Five.

Another 10 semifinalists will compete for the remaining final four spots next week.

All are vying for a $1 million prize and the chance to headline a Las Vegas show in October.

Ellen DeGeneres as American Idol Judge

OMG. Fox replaced Paula Abdul with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres as American Idol Judge. Ellen DeGeneres will join the three other judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi as the fourth judge on American Idol.

Ellen DeGeneres said:
"I'm thrilled to be the new judge on American Idol," Ms. DeGeneres said in a statement. "I've watched since the beginning, and I've always been a huge fan. So getting this job is a dream come true, and think of all the money I'll save from not having to text in my vote."
