If you’re up to the minute with your internet memes you have already seen this by now. I came across it on Twitter a couple of days ago and decided not to post it due to it’s already incredible popularity. I’ve reconsidered though. Most people are focusing on the incredible stop motion animation job and the amount of time/energy/creativity it must have taken to do all that with LEGOs. I concur on all those points but I’d rather focus on the c64/8 Bit music that is the basis for the video.

Swedesplease has covered this music often and at length. While it’s not a unique Swedish phenomena there are some tremendous c64 bands coming out of Sweden. It appears we’ll have to add the duo Rymdreglage to that list.
