The Killer himself, Jerry Lee Lewis, hit number one on the country charts on this day back in 1957 with Whole Lot Of Shakin' Going On. It was his first number one single on the country charts. It also went to number one on the Billboard R&B charts and it peaked at #3 on the Hot 100 charts. Enjoy!

Rodney Atkins' These Are My People Moves Up To #1 On This Day Back In 2007

Two years ago today, Rodney Atkins' These Are My People moved up to number one on the Billboard Hot Country charts. It was Rodney's third number one single in a row. He would follow up this one with another number one for Cleaning This Gun (Come On In Boy). Garth Brooks' More Than A Memory would knock These Are My People out of the top spot after just one week, but this song remains a huge fan favorite at Rodney's concerts. Enjoy!
