The X Factor Winner Leona Lewis Punched At Book Signing Posted: 14 Oct 2009 05:00 PM PDT Every time a celebrity leaves the security of their own house they are risking being mobbed by fans, some of whom can be a little over the top. And punching a celebrity is my idea of going way over the top. Maybe Leona Lewis should stay at home from now on. According to BBC News, Leona Lewis, who won The X Factor in 2006, was signing copies of her new autobiography, Dreams, at the Waterstones book store in Piccadilly when she was allegedly assaulted.
A Waterstones spokesman said:
The book signing session had reportedly been taking place for around 90 minutes when Lewis’ attacker allegedly punched her in the side of the head. But not before he had got his copy of her book signed. So I’m guessing he’s a fan… just a very strange one whose idea of fandom is very different from the rest of us. Lewis was forced to pull out of appearing on The One Show because of the incident. The autobiography is due out next month alongside her second album, Echo. JLS’ Marvin Humes’ Ex-Girlfriend Releasing ‘Cheat Again’ Posted: 14 Oct 2009 11:58 AM PDT There’s nothing like a woman scorned. And JLS left four women scorned when they appeared on The X Factor. This is because they all decided to dump their existing girlfriends in order not to upset their female fans and, I guess, enable them to enjoy the carnal fruits of their labor. However, one of the girls is now taking sweet revenge. JLS had a big hit with Beat Again, but this is Cheat Again, a spoof cover Jaime Jay. She is Marvin Humes’ ex, who was going out with the singer for six years prior to JLS gaining overnight fame. According to NME, she claims she even managed the band during that time, and came up with the Jack the Lad Swing name. Whether Humes did actually cheat on Jay or not isn’t important because the result was still a public dumping. Jay is set to release Cheat Again on Nov. 9 after it racked up views on YouTube. And who can blame her! Post from: Brit Music Scene |
