Susan Boy Covers “Cry Me a River”

Posted: 08 Oct 2009 09:32 PM PDT

Susan Boyle didn't win Britain's Got Talent but she definitely created a buzz that continues to follow her even though the show has long been over.  The formerly reclusive singer will be releasing her debut album I Dreamed a Dream on November 24, 2009 and the (unofficial) track listing has emerged (the original artist/song writer is in brackets):

  • "Wild Horses" (Rolling Stones)
  • "I Dreamed A Dream" (Alain Boublil)
  • "Cry Me A River" (Arthur Hamilton)
  • "How Great Thou Art" (Christian Hymn)
  • "You’ll See" (Madonna)
  • "Daydream Believer" (The Monkees)
  • "Up To The Mountain" (Patty Griffin)
  • "Amazing Grace" (Christian Hymn)
  • "Who I Was Born To Be"
  • "Proud" (Heather Small)
  • "The End of The World" (Skeeter Davis)
  • "Silent Night" (Father Josef Mohr)

Audio of Susan singing "Cry Me a River" is making its rounds on the internet and a lot of people are saying that they like it.  I don't see how it's that spectacular.  It's not terrible but I really don't love it.  What do you think?  Feel free to tell me what I'm missing!

Katy Perry, Janet Jackson & Rihanna at Paris Fashion Week

Singers Janet Jackson and best friends, Katy Perry and Rihanna, were spotted at Paris Fashion Week.  All of the women looked amazing although I've got to admit that even I felt a little chilly looking at Katy Perry.  It was good to see Janet out and looking happy since I'm sure she's still coping with the sudden death of her brother, Michael Jackson, earlier this summer.
