New Rosanne Cash – “The List”

Rosanne Cash comes from one of music's royal families since she is the daughter of the late great Johnny Cash.  At the young age of 18, Rosanne was given a list of the 100 essential country songs by her father.  She has chosen to put her signature on 12 of them which makes up the track listing for her new album The rosanne cash the listList. 

With collaborations with Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Jeff Tweedy, Neko Case and Rufus Wainwright, the album is a real musical gem.

Me’Shell NdegeOcello Releases “Devil’s Halo”

Last week, Me’Shell NdegeOcello released her newest album Devil's Halo and I thought it was so incredibly interesting and unique. 

In case you recognize the name but can't quite figure out why, she collaborated with John devils haloCougar Mellencamp on a cover of Van Morrison's "Wild Night" back in 1994 that reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and remained in the Top 40 for 33 weeks. 

It's great to see her releasing new music.  Here's the track listing:
