LeAnn Rimes Writing Album Inspired By Divorce

Back when all of the rumors were swirling about LeAnn Rimes and her possible affair with Eddie Cibrian, I wrote about being tired of the drama in her life as well as the Academy of Country Music Awards 2009 - PRESS ROOMfact that I thought she should focus on music instead of someone else's husband.  

Well, LeAnn and Eddie have since left their spouses and have been pretty public about their relationship.  I'm guessing they were lying when they denying everything in the past… 

The singer has revealed that her next album, which is due this spring, was inspired by her breakup with her husband of seven years.  She said: "Most of the stuff I’ve written myself, so it’s definitely my life. The subjects of the tunes are down the middle between heartbreak and love.  Part of my therapy is to write. I write with a lot of my best friends, so most of our meetings are therapy sessions that turn into songs.  I’m great. I’m really happy and I am enjoying being back between Los Angeles and Nashville. With work and my personal life, everything’s good. It really is."

I really do hope that everyone involved has found a way to find some peace and happiness since this really is a sad situation.

Kylie Minogue Is Becoming a Vegas Showgirl!

Kylie Minogue has been offered her very own show in Las Vegas!  Seems like a natural fit, doesn't it?  Her sister, X Factor, judge, Dannii Minogue spilled the beans in a recent interview.

Dannii said: "The response from her shows in America have been phenomenal. They love her out there. She was nervous about going over for the first time, but it has gone better than she expected.  She has now been asked to take the show back to Vegas and extend it as a residency over there. I'm so proud of her," she added.  She called to tell me how well everything has been going and about the Vegas offer. I was joking with her that The Showgirl is finally where she belongs.  Kylie's show is perfect for Vegas, it's so theatrical. She has loved performing out there."

I seriously can't think of a better person to have a show in Vegas.  Kylie is known for her over-the-top, campy and innovative costumes and sets so I think this is going to be a huge success!  I wish I could go!

Katy Perry and Russell Brand Get Domestic in Cooking Class

Katy Perry and Russell Brand are a really unlikely pair in my opinion.  I really would not have ever put them together but I'm guessing their rumored romance is still in full swing since they were spotted taking a cooking class at someone's house in the Hollywood Hills. 

Oddly enough, American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest, was also seen leaving the class.  I wonder what they were making!
