| Syesha Mercado Beginning “Dreamgirls” Run Posted: 08 Nov 2009 12:01 PM PST On November 22, 2009, former American Idol contestant, Syesha Mercado, will be embarking on a national tour of the musical, Dreamgirls. Syesha has been cast in the role of Deena, which was brought to the big screen by Beyonce Knowles a couple years ago. Of course, Syesha's fellow Idol alum, Jennifer Hudson, is probably most associated with the film version since she won an Oscar for her magnificent portrayal of Effie White. Syesha was on the Wendy Williams show last week. Here's a video of her appearance.

| Kris Allen “Live Like We’re Dying” Music Video Posted: 07 Nov 2009 11:54 AM PST Have you seen the official music video for Kris Allen's single "Live Like We're Dying" yet? I really like the song and I think the video was a little cooler than I was expecting. It clearly wasn't super high budget or anything but I thought the countdown clock in the back was a nice touch.
