Skillz: The Wire Rap Up

Posted: 07 Jan 2009 03:38 AM CST

I'm kind of bored with the yearly Rap Up things (this years is decent though) but this I can get with! Skillz gives the Rap Up treatment to The Wire.

"McNulty is demoted... now he's workin the boat"

This is an official promo for the complete series DVD set. Wish I could afford that chit. Until then, somebody find me the mp3 of this video!

Preem Still Wants To Work With Nas & Hov

I'd like to see it happen but I'm afraid Nasir & Sean just don't want to do it.

Lil Wayne On ESPN

How come I didn't know about this before now? Wayne on 1st & Ten:

This is just a clip. Eskay & them posted youtubers of pretty much the whole show but (1) I bet they get pulled any second now & (2) the audio skipped around a lot for me. Go check it out if such things interest you.

Wayne was also part of an ESPN podcast yesterday. And I completely forgot about his ESPN blog.

ps: Dick Vitale is calling tonights NBA game on ESPN. At least you know it won't be boring like the normal guys are.

The Killer Mike CD Opening Experience

My routine used to be similar but it's graduated to the point where over half the stuff I buy is still sealed up because I've had the mp3's for weeks. I might be missing some good info or some "Easter Eggs" or whatever but I doubt it. These days I'm more excited to see that whatever CD I'm buying isn't in one of those lame digipak's or, if it's an underground artist, that it's not a CDR masquerading as a "real" CD.
