| Carrie Underwood Tries to Make Her Way Through LAX Posted: 24 Feb 2009 10:06 AM PST Traveling can be a really tiring on most people and the part I hate the most is the security checkpoint.
 Just like everyone else, American Idol season 4 winner, Carrie Underwood, had to take off her boots and head through the scanner (okay, I actually saw George Clooney completely bypass this process on the TMZ television show – how is that right?!?). Carrie seemed patient enough with having the paparazzi record her every movement but, unfortunately, it looks like she grew tired of the flashbulbs. Can you blame her? I almost feel guilty putting these pictures up at all but I wanted to show them to you to ask a question – do you think it's right to photograph celebrities in this way? I actually just thought of another question too. I see a lot of these airport pictures, is it safe to have paparazzi taking pictures of "security measures"?

France's version of American Idol kicks off its seventh season today and I don't know what it is but I always find the French version extremely interesting. I'll do my best to find the best videos and share them here. Of course, there's never been a winner like Julien Doré for me but that's what happens when you find a real artist versus someone who just wants to be famous. | Katharine McPhee To Release New Album Posted: 24 Feb 2009 09:21 AM PST Katharine McPhee has signed with jazz label, Verve Records where she joins McPhee is expected to release a new album by the end of 2009 and Verve president/CEO Bruce Resnikoff said: "The album she is working on will show many new sides to her talents as an interpreter and a songwriter, and show everyone just how special she is." I know Kat's first (self-titled) album didn't do as well as she would have hoped but I actually liked some of the songs a lot. She also collaborated with David Foster for his Hit Man: David Foster and Friends CD/DVD on which she performed "The Prayer" with Andrea Bocelli. | David Archuleta to Guest Star on Hannah Montana Posted: 24 Feb 2009 09:08 AM PST American Idol season 7 runner-up (and teen cutie!), David Archuleta, will be making a guest appearance on the hugely popular Disney show, Hannah Montana. If you read David's blog, then you probably already know but in "Another thing that happened over the last week is I went to LA to film my guest appearance on Hannah Montana. It was another thing I was really nervous about and wasn't really sure about at first. However, once I got there I had a great time! Everyone there was fun and Miley [Cyrus] was a cool person to hang out with. She has a lot of energy and is really funny. Getting to watch how they rehearsed the scenes for the show was really cool too. It's always interesting to see the behind-the-scenes things. I've never really watched the show before, but it was sooo funny watching the other scenes! I think it'll be fun to see how the whole show runs altogether, because it was just cool to see how great of actors the other kids were. Anyhow, I better get to rehearsing for the big day tomorrow! I'll talk to you guys later! Ah! I'm pretty pumped for tomorrow! Let me know if you're going to the Virginia Beach or Richmond shows ok? You can let me know if you're going to one of the other shows this week too. Peace!" Awww! Maybe David will get into acting. When he was on Idol, I always thought he would make a great teen star.
