| Gene Wants To Record The New Kiss Album "Quickly" Posted: 17 Feb 2009 09:24 AM PST
Gene Simmons states that he does not have the patients to spend six months in the recording studio recording the new KISS album. The New album will be produced by Paul Stanley.
They recently reported that they would be recording in analog too. Perhaps the overall concept with recording analog and fast is to make the album sound as genuine as possible instead of over-produced and too polished. That’s respectable. If I wanted or had to have a new KISS album, I would prefer the original line-up…but who wouldn’t, right? In other KISS related news, an Australian man who’s house burned down in the recent Victorian bush fires, was able to save one thing from the inferno, his prized autographed KISS Guitar. The guitar is Silvertone Apocalypse Bass signed by the band. Aron Driscoll said; “There was probably 50,000 other things I could have grabbed in that moment but the guitar was it. And I’m glad of that because it’s very special.” He bought it from his niece, but she didn’t give him a family discount with a parting price of about $1500.
