Joseph Auer – Freo (Symbolic Interaction) Posted: 31 Mar 2009 03:21 AM PDT
Indeed Freo is quite a good place, it just has a tendency to reside in time past a sort of audio sentimentality by someone who is obviously quite proficient with their machines. Even Fremantle Groove opens with the hint of interest to pique the mind into action then resides back into the familiar, a recipe which akin to structures like rock and roll must become either effective as a device or passé akin to a fad. Imagine trying to tell the Sean Kuti fans that Afrobeat is an audio relic, well similar problem. Go on Joseph don't listen to aged cynics, keep that retro ambient techno sound alive!
