Chelsea Korka (of The Pussycat Dolls Present) posted the leaked version of "Patron Tequila" by the Paradiso Girls. Funny how Keri Hilson's version "leaked" last week, though now the audio has been taken off YouTube due to copyright issues. At any rate, I really am diggin' this track. I can't wait to get it in high quality and I can't wait to hear the inevitable remixes! Sounds like a well put together girl's group. The harmonies in the chorus are hot and more than one of the girls can actually sing (unlike PCD). I'm looking forward to hearing more from the Paradiso Girls!

I Do Not Hook Up Cover Art

Coverlandia is reporting two different "official" covers for Kelly Clarkson's new single, "I Do Not Hook Up." Anyone know the deal with this? Which is real? Are they both legit? Regardless, I love them. These bright and cheery colors are in the complete opposite direction of her last album's promotional material. Of the two...I think I like the first one better. I am kind of feeling the corset she's rocking in the second one, though. Which cover do you like better?

New Stacie Orrico Music!

YES! This makes me excited. According to The Prophet, Stacie Orrico is back in the studio and recording a hot new song. While it is in fact a ballad, and I'm usually not too crazy about ballads, this one sounds BEAUTIFUL! The YouTube clip features Brandon Beal in the studio while Stacie is recording live. You hear her singing the track, tentatively called "Light Years Apart," before all the production work is done. It's raw, uninhibited...just Stacie and her tremendous voice. I knew the girl could sing but wow. I'm just as impressed as the Prophet!

Her last R&B record, Beautiful Awakening, was due to be released in the US in late August of 2006 however she split with Virgin records before it could be released. The album went on to be released in Japan and Europe and Canada. As far as I know, she still hasn't found a new label. After hearing this track, she shouldn't have any trouble at all.
