| Bucky Covington Sings “Good to Be Us” on Opry Live - Video Posted: 17 Mar 2009 12:04 AM PDT Former American Idol finalist, Bucky Covington, performed "Good to Be Us" on Opry Live last week and, while I think his backup singer had some issues with the harmony during the chorus, I liked the song. Is it just me or does it look like Bucky got a haircut? It's a little shorter and has a more defined shape than when I saw him during the American Idol Experience motorcade. |
| Jordin Sparks Talks About New Album and Chris Brown Posted: 16 Mar 2009 08:19 AM PDT American Idol season 6 winner, Jordin Sparks, sat down with blogger/YouTuber, B. Scott, where she talked about her upcoming album and her "No Air" collaborator, Chris Brown. She explains that she's been in New York City in the recording studio working on her sophomore album. She said that it is similar to the first album but that she is writing more and that it will be more uptempo. I'm looking forward to it! When the discussion turned to the Chris Brown/Rihanna situation, Jordin said: "I only saw him at the music video set, so I don't know him on a personal level like that. From when I saw when we did the music video he was really, really sweet. Very charming, and I have no idea. It's just a really really sad situation. It wasn't right at all no matter what happened. I just hope they figure things out and move on with their lives." When B. asked her what she would say to girls who are going through domestic violence, Jordin said: "it's not okay, it's just not okay… you don't have to accept it because it's not your fault."
