Posted: 24 Apr 2009 01:30 PM PDT

I’m generally not a cut and paste music blogger but I couldn’t resist telling you about this tour:

September - Tvärvägen
Scapegoat - Hajen

Finally Hajen, Euphoria and the Lazy Boy, Winter Took His Life and Tvärvägen made it. On the 05.05. the “Dirtfarming and Logging ‘09″ will start. A very unique and beautiful tour!

Weird pop from Rolf Fabian off of “It Kills” (Background Noise, June 9)

Posted: 24 Apr 2009 10:15 AM PDT

Music bloggers love to compare artists to other artists. In the case of Rolf Fabian it’s quite difficult to get a handle on who exactly he sounds like and more especially who else structures their songs like this. Sure he may sound a little like Jonathan Richmond and his songs do have a quirky feel to them, but there are also hints of The Mountain Goats, Connor Oberst or Bill Callahan (but not so tortured).

“Atishoo Sneezed Hank W” is the first single from Rolf’s upcoming album It Kills! on Background Noise.
