American Idol Season 8 – The 5 Song EP Exclusively at Walmart

To go along with the American Idol: Season 8 compilation which was released last month, the American Idol Season 8 – The 5 Song EP became available earlier this week.  It's a reasonable price (just $5.00!) and is available exclusively at Walmart.american idol season 8 5 song EP

  2. Whole Lotta Love - Adam Lambert
  3. Ain’t No Sunshine - Kris Allen
  4. What Hurts The Worst - Danny Gokey
  5. Slow Ride - Adam Lambert & Allison Iraheta

I don't know if it's the best collection of songs but I loved Kris Allen's rendition of "Ain't No Sunshine" and, of course, that awesome Adam Lambert/Allison Iraheta duet!  Of course, these songs could have been included in the compilation but Idol's got to milk us for all they can get, right?

Allison Iraheta Sings “Barracuda” on the Tonight Show

I know this was a few days ago but I found a video of Allison Iraheta performing "Barracuda" on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien.  She replaced American Idol winner, Kris Allen, who had to bow out of the appearance after a death in his family.

I'm a big fan of Heart so I've always loved "Barracuda" and I don't know if anyone can sing it quite like they did but I think Allison does a great job.  She was already pretty great while she was on Idol but I feel like her vocals have matured even more since then.
