Britney Spears & Russell Brand’s Funny VMA Promo

I love when celebrities can poke fun at themselves and this promotional spot for the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards cracked me up a bit.  It features Britney Spears (looking toned and as beautiful as ever in a bikini!) standing by the poolside mulling over the fact that Russell Brand has been invited to return as the show's host.

Meanwhile, Russell is sitting thinking about the fact that Britney might attend the awards this year and he worries that some of the jokes he made about her at the 2008 VMAs might have offended her.  After a bit more of hearing them talking to themselves, Russell says that he can hear Britney's voice in his head and decides to find out whether she can hear his thoughts as well.
