| Carrie Underwood Cheers on Hockey Boyfriend - Video Posted: 13 Mar 2009 12:01 AM PDT I am an avid hockey fan so I can't help but love the enthusiasm of American Idol winner, Carrie Underwood. She is reportedly dating Ottawa Senators player, Mike Fisher, and was spotted at a game on March 11, 2009 celebrating after he scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the Sens over the visiting Tampa Bay Lightning. I found the video of Fisher scoring the goal and, at the end, you can see Carrie jumping up and down and hugging someone in the box (I think it looks like she says "my boy." | Jennifer Hudson on Cover of March Issue of Jet Magazine Posted: 12 Mar 2009 11:14 PM PDT American Idol finalist (and Academy Award and Grammy Award winning actress/singer), Jennifer Hudson, spoke to Jet magazine about what her life has been like since the tragic murders of her mother, brother and little nephew. Before we go into that, I just want to say how beautiful Jennifer looks on the cover. In the interview, she says: "I'm so grateful. My first Grammy and my first tour, it doesn't get any better than this." How does she find the strength to remain so optimistic? "Praying every morning and thanking God for every single blessing keeps me grounded and motivated to be the very best that I can be in everything that I do," she said. Jennifer will be embarking on a tour with multi-platinum recording artist Robin Thicke, who wrote Hudson's Giving Myself, on her CD. He had some words to share with the magazine: "Jennifer is someone that I've always loved and admired, so when the opportunity for us to do this together came about, it was a no-brainer. She's so immensely talented and such a beautiful person inside and out, to be associated with her is wonderful." | Kara DioGuardi in Theory of a Deadman “Not Meant to Be” Video Posted: 12 Mar 2009 03:55 PM PDT Kara DioGuardi is in the new Theory of a Deadman video "Not Meant to Be" which makes me very happy because I love the Canadian rockers, whom I was fortunate enough to meeting during last year's Juno Awards festivities here in Calgary. You may not be familiar with the band but they sound a lot like Nickelback but they look like they actually take showers. I kinda got a kick out of the fact that the song, which was co-written by Kara with frontman, Tyler Conolly, contains the lyrics "one step forward and two steps back" which, of course, is similar to the lyrics from Paula Abdul's hit "Opposites Attract" (two steps forward, two steps back). | Kelly Clarkson Talks About Weight and Men Posted: 12 Mar 2009 03:44 PM PDT Kelly Clarkson talked to American Idol judge, Kara DioGuardi, in an interview that will air tonight on Entertainment Tonight about her weight. She said: "I feel very fortunate coming from American Idol. I was the biggest girl in the group. I’ve always been thicker and millions of people voted for me," she continues. "People are born all different shapes and sizes. People have liked me this way."
 She again kibboshed the rumors that she is a lesbian: "I went to Europe and it was in the press everywhere and I was like, ‘I don’t get it, was I sleep walking and kissed a girl and there’s a picture or something?’" she says. "Just because I’m single and don’t date a lot, that doesn’t make me a lesbian." She also talked about what she is looking for in a man: "A confident guy that has his own thing going on. Anyone that can make me laugh. Guys are usually so nervous, they don’t talk. Every guy I’ve dated, I’ve worked with and we knew each other before." This seems to be a year of comebacks for Kelly so, hopefully, her love life will be on the upswing as well. Tags: dating, weight |
